For Jason Sao Bento, no medium is off limits for him to splash his flavor. His artistry has been adorned on canvas and concrete alike. His technique is simple: unbridled imagination dying to be heard tempered with the discipline to be translated to many audiences. Born in Toronto but raised in the rich art scenes of Paris, Lisbon, and London, Jason was raised to appreciate all forms of visual expression: attending Europe’s most respected art schools to learn the classics, while being exposed to the socially commentary of hip-hop and the direct impact of graffiti. Taking cues from these disciplines, as well as Japanese anime, Jason, who operates under the handle “Jay21,” has come to his own as an artist. Now, in his older years, Jason has taken a new path to direct his creativity, and is now focusing his artistic endeavors towards advertising layout and design. Jason will now be taking his wide arsenal of art skills to the corporate world with hopes of lending his vision of the world to a much larger audience.
