Well hell everyone it’s been a week since I started on it. I didn’t have much time working on it because of thither projects pop up under my nose. So I finally had time to finish it so there u go, I’m quite happy how this one came out; especially the little girl. I will have some prints available soon so let me know if u would like to have one. Hey everyone well I finally finished this pin up. Took me a while to try to find time to finish this one, but finaly found some. Ive been wanting to finish this one for a while. Inspection came from the movie “bomb the system” one of my all time favorite movies.

Well last night I couldn’t sleep. I had all these ideas all come at me at once. I had saw the news before I had gone to bed and I saw a coverage of the war that’s going on. I think war is the stupidest thing in the world. Why cant people be more civilized and just sit down and just talk about what the hell is the matter instead of blowing each other up. So as I said all these ideas flow at me and I linked the news to one of them. So I decided to do an anti war poster, not of the one everyone talking about but of all the ones that’s going on, the ones that the news doesn’t even cover. I think it’s a good way for to people to open there eyes and see what around them, what people are doing to each other. I know this won’t help millions but at least I’m doing something for them.

Usually I sketch out the pose first to get a since of what’s going on. Then I usually on the same page I do a few head sketches to see what kind of a look I’m going for.
After that I go for the background. I am lucky I have a light table so its allot easier for me to just put my initial sketch under it’s and just draw around it and not screw up my initial sketch. I do a few of those then once I’m happy with one look, I put everything all together. Basically, tracing all of them on to one sheet.
I’m probably so a small tutorial on how I do my illustrations, many people have asked me in person and e-mailed me asking, so hers a great chance to do so, and I think this is the perfect illustration to use. So keep posted ill be putting the illustration up when I’m half way and probably leave the tutorial for last.

Here is the first warm up sketch of the day, always good to do before doing something, I don’t really care if it’s a great drawing or not, it’s the process that counts for me. I usually sketch with a blue ball point pen usually, I don’t use pencils very much anymore, you can always erase, witch I think is a no no when sketching. There you can see how good you can do with improve. I thought be cool to show you people how I start my day when I do work.
Now on to work then!

Well ladies and gents I decided to start a blog to keep everyone posted about what’s happening around here. I got many E-mails asking were did Mr. Jay go ??? and MANY E-mails asking for new art. So for all you hungry fans (witch I love you all :D) ill be posting up new art and lots of work in progressand what news happening. Im going to try to post 2se a week, ill try not to slack off, but if I do E-mail me and yeal at me plz! cuz this is for you guys. So kids sit back and enjoy the ride!
