hello boys and girls,
on monday i went to a great concert here in toronto! my great friend dj mensa opened up for q-tip and common. If you don’t know whos these 2 are, goggle them RIGHT NOW!!!! at the show, q-tip opened the show with him hanging on the speakers making all the peeps jump up and down making a huge earth quake here in the t.dot. simply amazing. gotta shout out dj mensa for doing one of his best performances ive seen him do. fuckin great. also dj scratch did one of the most amazing freestyles i have ever seen. q-tip jumped in to do some beat juggling as well. everyone was blown away by it.

in the freelance world, i’ve been doing some work for a new ad campaign with a great studio in toronto “Homes and Lee”. its going to be a campaign for a great book store here in toronto. its a very small place but the owners and the people who work their are super smart and know their books. i’ll be getting back to my roots… going to be making a mural for them which will then be a part of their print component. i think theyre making it an even of it, so ill prob ask my great friends who work with youth to bring some kids along and teach them some techniques and help is always good as well.

well i know its been almost 2 moths and something… i know sorry, but i really needed to take some time off to get my head straight. works been draining my brain (:S) and also a few things that happened in my personal life. thank to all of you that have e-mailed me asking were i’ve been. thanks. many people have asked me why don’t i do more posts about my personal life on here, and the answer is simple. this wasn’t intended for my personal life. this was intended to show to people who like my art and that are interested in my art. so, i will not post anything about my personal life if it doesnt have to do with my work.
but on a better note, it was good taking this break from everything. been able to do alot of new experiments, trying new techniques, been back to pint and lots of lots of sketching, which is good. so now i’m gonna be back on track back to the pod cast and back to the freelance world.
also i will be posing my blog on 2 places at jaysaobento.blogspot.com and at jay21.com/blog. i just found the world of wordpress. i recommend it to any one who wants to design a very easy to use blog. so get blogging people!
